
The Woodlands Town Center and East Shore Location
The Woodlands Town
Center is located between the main entry to The Woodlands on
Interstate 45 and the East Shore of Lake Woodlands.
Although The Woodlands consists of seven primary 'villages',
each with its own shopping centers and recreational facilities,
Town Center is the 1,000 acre 'Downtown' of The Woodlands, and a
regional destination for shopping, dining, entertainment and
urban living. The Woodlands Mall, market Street, the
Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion, and numerous stand alone shops
and restaurants comprise the retail hub of this thriving urban
setting.
The Woodlands
Waterway, a 1.4 mile long water amenity, ties all of these Town
Center activities, as well as urban residences and lofts, into a
dynamic, urban atmosphere that has been carefully planned to be
in sync with the natural surrounds of The Woodlands.
East Shore, a 260
acre enclave on the eastern edge of 200 acre Lake Woodlands, is
the "Garden District" of The Woodlands Town Center. This
sophisticated urban environment is now being developed with
unique opportunities for urban living, only a few minutes from
Interstate 45, and within walking distance of all the shopping,
dining and entertainment venues in The Woodlands Town Center,
Market Street, and The Woodlands Waterway.
Town Center and
East Shore are accessible from The Woodlands Parkway, the main
entrance to The Woodlands. East Shore can be accessed from
East Shore Drive, off Grogan's Mill Road, or Lake Front Circle
Drive, off the Woodlands Parkway.
East Shore is the
site of two Stonemark projects: The Villas, 25 single-family
detached residence home sites, and La Costa, 42 residential
units designed around a courtyard garden that connects 3 unique
